Here is the plaque that marks the beginning point of the first powered flight.

Here are two markers. The near one marks the end of the second flight. The far one marks the
end of the third flight. You can't see it in this pic, but there's another one way over by
the trees at the end of the field that marks the end of the fourth flight.

Close up of the second and fourth markers.

Looking back to the starting point (with the Momument in the background) from the fourth marker.

This sign explains what the Wright Brothers did for their glider flights.

The big momument from a distance.

This looks from the Monument hill west towards the runway. The little building is the AOPA Pilot Center. If you look carefully, you can see the airplane through the trees to the right of the building.

That's me walking up the big hill towards the Momument.

The Monument closer up. The metal thing at the top is a beacon that turns on at night. When turned on,
it's a REALLY bright light.

Closeup of the inscriptions on the monument.

That's me and then Mike at the base of the monument.

Looking over the field where they flew their first flight from the monument hill.

We catch a photo of an airplane taking off from the runway adjacent to the first flight location.

A bunch of girls who were on vacation or something.

The AOPA Pilot Center on-field.

The Wright Brothers Monument viewed from the aircraft tie-down area.
